# Fighting Food waste and raising funds

 Aug 27, 2020

![](https://deliverit.com.au/hubfs/Archive/Blog%20Assets/Imported_Blog_Media/albumcoverSQR-1.jpg)

At Deliverit we are walking to raise funds for OzHarvest to help them Nourish our Country! Through the month of August the team at Deliverit have committed to walk 1200 kms and for each kilometre walked we will donate $1 to OzHarvest. Every single $1 we raise will enable OzHarvest to deliver 2 meals to vulnerable Australians. How simple is that. Please support us – every $1 counts! If you would like to support OzHarvest and Deliverit head to our fundraising page to donate: [https://events.ozharvest.org/fundraisers/deliverit](https://events.ozharvest.org/fundraisers/deliverit)** **

**Who are OzHarvest? **

OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation with a driving purpose to *Nourish Our Country*. Founded by Ronni Kahn in 2004, it began with a simple concept to rescue good food that would otherwise go to waste and deliver it to people in need. Find out more about [OzHarvest](https://events.ozharvest.org/about-us).
